change keyboard &é"'(§è!çà to 1234567890 without shift
hellu, does anyone know how to change the keyboard language so that i wont have to press shift, or shift lock, all the time. i hardly ever use &é"'(§è!çà , but i use 1234567890 constantly. I just think it's very very lame, and they should switch places!! Numbers are far more important than these weird &é"'(§è!çà symbols. shift lock won't do for me, since i don't want my letters in CAPS. thanksh

Are you saying that the unshifted keys get you &?"'(??!?? and you have to press shift to get 1234567890? That's very odd. On all my keyboards (USA), the unshifted keys give the numbers and shifting produces the special characters (but different special characters from your list). So what kind of keyboard do you have? What language is it set to? Ken Blake, Microsoft MVP

Hi, Would you please let me know if you used Azerty Keyboard? I suggest you make changes in Keyboards and other input languages. Go to Region and Language -> Keyboards and Languages tab -> Change Keyboards button -> Select English (United States) –US as your Default input language. Or you can refer to this post. https://discussions.apple.com/message/11951216?messageID=11951216 Note: Since the website is not hosted by Microsoft, the link may change without notice.
